SouthForce Communications Inc., is an Atlanta-based company bolstered by the collective energies of experienced consultants who will form strategic teams to suit your corporate communications, marketing and public relations needs. Our professional experiences are as varied as we are, and they are the backbone of our commitment to deliver strategic and excellent service.

Leading the consulting team is Joan Thomas. She is a former broadcast journalist and has international communications, marketing and public relations expertise. Ms. Thomas has a Master of Science degree in Technical and Professional Communication and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with an emphasis in radio and TV news. She is the recipient of a 2006 Presidential Volunteer Service Award from President George W. Bush for her 20-year-long involvement with a girls' club called Cool Girls of Atlanta. In 2003, Cool Girls honored her with their Founder's Award.

From time to time, Ms. Thomas serves as an adjunct instructor of News Reporting and Writing, Advanced Communications, Information Design, Writing for Multimedia, or the Fundamentals of Media Communication at two institutions of higher learning.
